Hermit crabs are natural climbers. They sleep during the day high in trees and come out at night to feed. Make your crab more comfortable by including structure and items in your tank that allows him to replicate this activity in your home.
This net can be attached to the bank of a tank either via hot glue or just pinching the lid closed over the top of some of it. This allows the crab to climb to the top of the tank via the net. He will sleep at the top of your tank while attached to the net. It's a pretty neat thing to see. This is local fishing/shrimping net that was purchased off the docks here in Florida. So it is real genuine net that was once used to bring fish and shrimp to your home.
